Lee Smith founded LJS Benefit Consultants in 2009, a personal and corporate life and health insurance agency, but she has been in the insurance benefits business for over 30 years. The mission of the business is simple…..we strive to “do insurance the right way and make it easy” for all clients. Insurance should not be difficult to explain nor understand. Whether individual or group, we make it a priority to know the right products to offer at the right price, based upon need - no tough decisions.
Because we understand lifestyle needs and the real likelihood that an unanticipated accident or illness can alter future plans, we counsel on what is necessary for our insureds’ peace of mind. We act as personal advisors; we strive to become a valued extension of the HR departments of our group clients, making their jobs “easier”, and we allow businesses to focus on what they do best - growing their business.
Lee is a graduate of Clemson University where she received her Bachelor of Arts degree in English, with a minor in Communications. She and her husband, Scott, reside in Lexington, S.C., where she is active in Saxe Gotha Presbyterian Church, Second Century Club, and Midlands Leads Exchange Group.
